I recently read Cory Doctorow’s collection of short stories “Overclocked”(2005 Thunder’s Mouth Press). “I-Robot” a follow on to Asimov’s book, is an excellent visually rich short story that like DOIMK highlites Cory’s visionary power and post-asimov imagineer’s the future of robotics with the exploration of concepts like speed, AI, supiority to humans, social implications of technology, and relational aspects of information technologies. I regret not having read it sooner. I went to Border’s Books to buy it and ran into Newt Gingrich, but that is another story. My point is that “I-Robot” is a must read.
