Whuffie Stream

In 2003 I pondered the whereabouts of promised eyeglass computer screens, suspecting that perhaps the military had gobbled them up, and then in October of last year I mentioned poorly named Scaler’s “Teleglasses” and Sony’s “Glasstron” low rez $500 offerings. I now give you “MyVu”: full VGA at $300 to $200. The pairing with iPod’s makes perfect sense (the wee screens are exasperating.). However, this video ad/info blurb lacks appeal for me. Style wise the “Crystal” strikes me as a kid’s toy. Why not apply the technology to any existing sun-glass style to appeal to the masses so one could watch JFK on their Jackie-Os? (via wired ad)
